Bu durumu fırsat bilen Xiaomi, akıllı telefonların RAM'lerini depolama alanı olarak kullanmanızı sağlayan RAMDISK teknolojisini duyurdu.
Oyunseverleri heyecanlandıran bu teknoloji, şu an yalnızca Mi 10 Ultra kullanıcılarına sunuluyor.
Game Center’daki ‘Hızlı Kurulum’ bölümünde ‘Oyun Deneme’ modunu aktif eden kullanıcılar, 10’dan fazla oyunu RAM’e kurup oynayabiliyor.
Ancak RAM'e yüklenen oyunlar yalnızca deneme modunda geçici olarak oynanabiliyor. Çünkü telefonunuzu kapattığınızda RAM sıfırlanacağı için oyun verileriniz siliniyor.
Hem bilgisayarlarda hem de akıllı telefonlarda kullanılan RAM'ler, normal depolama alanlarına göre oldukça yüksek okuma ve yazma hızına sahip.
Örneğin Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra modeli, UFS 3.1 depolama birimi ve LPDDR5 RAM kullanıyor. Bu iki depolama birimi arasında okuma ve yazma konusunda oldukça fark var.
Örneğin telefonun dahili depolaması 1700+MB/s okuma ve 750+MB/s yazma hızına sahipken, kullanılan RAM 44GB/s hızlara kadar çıkabiliyor.
Xiaomi, şu anda kısıtlı olan RAMDISK teknolojisini daha da geliştirirse, gelecekte akıllı telefonlar etkileyici bir oyun deneyimi yaşatabilir.
