Geçtiğimiz yıl Mortal Kombat 11 oyuncuları Towers of Time modunda gökyüzünde gezinen gizemli bir meteor fark etti. Bildiğiniz gibi oyunlar içinde gizemler barındırabiliyor. Bunları easter egg olarak adlandırıyoruz. Yalnızca oyunlar değil birçok yazılım bu tür gizli özelliklere sahip. Mortal Kombat 11 meteor gizemi de bunlardan birisiydi. Uzun zamandır çözülmeyi bekliyordu ve artık o kadar da gizemli değil.
Towers of Time modunda gece yarısından sonra yeteri kadar beklerseniz -bu yaklaşık 10 dakika demek- ekranınızın sağından başlayıp soluna doğru giden bir meteor fark edeceksiniz. Bu meteor Birleşik Krallık'ta 00:10, 02:10... saatlerinde beliriyor. Her iki saate bir yakalama şansınız var. Yani TSI ile 03:10'dan itibaren yakalayabilirsiniz. Mortal Kombat 11 oyuncuları da bunu gördü ve hemen akıllarına oyunun geri kalanında da kullanılan tuş kombinasyonları geldi. Ancak bu haftaya kadar kimse doğru kombinasyonu bulamamıştı.
Ed Boon bu haftanın başında paylaştığı bir Twitter gönderisi ile olayı oyunculara pek ipucu vermeden gösterdi. TheThiny kullanıcı adlı bir mod geliştiricisi de meteorun sürekli ortaya çıkmasını sağlayan bir mod üretti ve denemeye koyuldu. Böylece olası tüm kombinasyonları denemek için 10 dakika beklemesine gerek kalmadı.
Meteor geçerken yapmanız gereken tuş kombinasyonu: Sol, yukarı, sol, sağ, sol, yukarı, yukarı.
Meteoru gördüğünüz anda hızlı bir şekilde yukarıdaki kombinasyonu yaptığınızda -gerçekten hızlı- rastgele bir kulenin kilidini açıyorsunuz. Bu sırada size rastgele bir karakter görünümü veriliyor. Mortal Kombat 11 meteor gizemini çözdükten sonra kuleye girmek için çok fazla materyale ihtiyacınız olacak. Kule sizden giriş için 250.000 Koin, 500 Hearts ve 2500 Souls isteyecek.
