Bitcoin’in 2017’de birim fiyatı 20 bin dolara ulaştığında, pek çok insan kripto paralar ile ilk kez tanışmıştı. İlk kez kripto paranın varlığından haberdar olanlar bir şekilde yaşananları anlamaya çalışıyorlardı. Merkezi ekonomik sistemlerin en büyük temsilcileri, yeni bir ekonomik sistem mi geliyor endişesi ile kararlar almaya başlamışlardı.

2017’de olanlar 2020’de yeniden yaşanmaya başladı. Piyasanın başını çeken birim yine Bitcoin olurken, onu Ethereum, Ripple ve Tether gibi kripto para birimleri takip ediyor. Bu 4  kripto para biriminin toplam değeri 470 milyar dolar seviyesine çok yakın. Kripto para piyasasının toplam piyasa değeri ise 570 milyar doların üzerine çıkmış durumda. 

Kripto paralar, neden tekrar yükselişe geçti?

Bunun en mantıklı nedeni olarak Mayıs 2020’de Bitcoin’de yaşanan yarılanma (halving) işlemini göstermek mümkün. Daha açıklayıcı olmak için bunu altın ile örneklendirmekte yarar var. Dünyadaki topraktan çıkarılıp işlenen tüm altınların aniden yeniden toprak altına girdiğini ve işlenmesi gerektiğini düşünün. Böyle bir durumda altını işleme maliyeti yükseleceği gibi, kalan işlenmiş altınların piyasadaki değeri de zamanla yükselmeye başlayacaktır. 

Kripto paraların toplam piyasa değerinin 570 milyar dolara ulaştığını söylemiştik. Bitcoin ise tek başına bu havuzun 350 milyar dolarını oluşturuyor. Yani bir başka değişle piyasanın a’lik kısmı Bitcoin’e ait. Dolayısı ile yarılanma sonrası değerinin artacağına dair beklentiler, yatırımcıları Bitcoin’e yönlendiriyor, bu nedenle piyasa değeri artmaya, arttıkça da yeni yatırımcılar sisteme dahil olmaya devam ediyor.

  • Bitcoin Cash (BCH): 335 dolar+ /  son 7 günde 3 değerlenme
  • Chainlink (LINK): 15 dolar+ /  son 7 günde değerlenme
  • Litecoin (LTC): 88 dolar+ / son 7 günde değerlenme
  • Polkadot (DOT): 5,81 dolar+ / son 7 günde değerlenme
  • Cardano (ADA): 0,16 dolar+ / son 7 günde F değerlenme
  • Binance Coin (BNB): 33 dolar+ / son 7 günde değerlenme

Yukarıdaki grafik 24 Kasım saat 14.00’da geçerli olan değerlere ait, ancak yaşananlara ilişkin genel bir çıkarım yapmak mümkün. Bitcoin’in son 7 gündeki ’lük değer artışı sizi yanıltmasın, çünkü bunun maddi karşılığı çoğu kripto paranın toplam değerinden daha fazla. 

İkinci sıradaki Ethereum’un arkasında ise Rus girişimci Vitalik Buterin’in liderlik ettiği bir ekip var. Ethereum’un piyasa değerindeki yükseliş, Bitcoin’e en uygun alternatif konumunu korumasını sağlıyor. 

İlk 10’da birim değer açısından en hızlı yükselen birim ise Ripple olarak göze çarpıyor. Yakın zamanda ABD’nin en büyük bankalarından Bank of America ile anlaşan Ripple’ın ülkemizde Akbank ile bir anlaşması da bulunuyor.

Birim değeri asla 1 doların üzerine çıkmayacak şekilde kurgulanan Tether ise 18 milyar dolarlık piyasa değeri ile 4. sırada. Yatırımdan çok bir değişim aracı olmayı vadeden Tether’in kullanım alanı da giderek yaygınlaşıyor.
