Geçen ay zombi modunu kaldıracağını ilan eden Activision, bu kararı yüzünden birçok oyuncunun üzülmesine sebep olmuştu. 25 Mart 2020 tarihinde kaldırılan modun geri gelmesini isteyen kullanıcıların sayısı bir hayli fazla.

Activision’ın resmi Reddit hesabından yapılan bir açıklama, şirket yetkililerinin bu konu yerine başka konular ile ilgilendiğini gösteriyor. İlgili açıklamada eleştiri oklarının hedefi, oynanışı baltalayan oyuncular oldu.

Kullanıcıların beğenisine sunulduğu günden beri sürekli değişen ve gelişen yapım, ne yazık ki hile yapan oyuncular ile boğuşuyor. Bu problemi tamamen ortadan kaldırmak isteyen Activision, cezalandırma yöntemini değiştirdi.

Cezalandırma politikasını sertleştiren tecrübeli şirket, yaklaşık 1 aydır aldığı raporlar doğrultusunda tavizsiz cezalandırma yöntemini uygulağını ifade etti. Buna ek olarak şirket tarafından paylaşılan yazıda şu satırlar dikkat çekti:

“Oyunumuzda hilecileri istemiyoruz ve onların sizin deneyiminizi baltalamalarını, sistemlerimizi manipüle etmelerini ve oyunun dengesini bozmalarını istemiyoruz. Eğer hile yapıldığına şahit olursak, güvenlik ve yürütme politikamızda ne yazıyorsa onu uygulamaya koyacağız.”

En küçük suçlardan en büyük suçlara kadar her türlü duruma karşı ağır ve caydırıcı cezalar tasarlayan Activision, sadece mod yapmak için kullanılan üçüncü taraf yazılımları bile affetmiyor. Bu bağlamda oyunun dengesini bozmaya çalışmak artık çok daha ciddi sonuçlara yol açacak.

Yayımlanan rapora göre işlenen ilk suçun cezası hesabın geçici olarak askıya alınması olacak. Bu suça ek olarak işlenen bir diğer suç veya suçlar için ise oyundan tamamen uzaklaştırılma cezası devreye girecek.

Suçu işleyen oyuncunun adı sıralama tablosundan kaldırılacak. Son olarak oyuncu sayısının azalması nedeni ile ücretsiz oyun seçeneklerinin kalıcılığı kaldıran Activision, hilecilere göz açtırmayacak gibi duruyor.
